BRUSSELS: Summer Family Day and Run for All at NATO HQ this Sunday

Don’t miss the Summer Family Day at HQ Staff Centre and the Run for All at NATO HQ this Sunday! 


Summer Family Day (10:00-16:00)
The NATO HQ community is invited to celebration the start of the summer season on Sunday 25th May at the Staff Centre's Summer Family Day. All ages are welcome to enjoy games, sports, and seasonal food/drink. The event is free to attend, families are kindly requested to RSVP. Summer Family Day RSVP: NATOsportcentre@highfive.fit

Run For All" Community 8km Run (10:30)
Participants are welcome to take part in a community “ Run For All" sponsored by Staff Resource Groups (SRGs). The route will circle the HQ building and participants can run solo or in a relay team. The run is free to take part in and is aimed at all levels, from those wanting to run competitively, or just to take part for fun. The run will start at 10:30.   • WHEN: Sunday 25 May 2025
    • Check-in: 9:00
    • Race Start: 10:30
  • WHERE: The race will take place at NATO HQ as part of the Summer Family Day.
  • DISTANCE: 8km (2km loop x 4)
  • TIMING: Each runner will receive a race bib, which will track their time. All runners will start at the same time.
  • ELIGIBILITY: Anyone with an HQ or Family NATO badge. You can run on your own, or in a relay as part of a team (max: 4). Recommended age for runners is 12+.​

 

ADDITIONALLY a Call for Volunteers
IS EM are looking for volunteers who want to help for a few hours during the Run For All. Tasks include:
  • 8:30 – 10:30: Distributing race bibs before the “Run For All”-race
  • 10:00 – 12:30: serving as a race marshal during the run.
