UNACCOMPANIED MINORS TRAVELLING ON EUROSTAR

A member of the British Community had a small issue when sending their 17 year old child back to the UK via Eurostar.
It would appear that in order for children under the age of 18 years to travel across the Belgium border an unaccompanied minor form needs to be completed.

The Eurostar policy states that only 12-15 year olds need this form completing however the Belgian Border Police state that ALL under 18s need this form completing to pass out of the Schengen Zone. The unaccompanied minor form can be downloaded from the Eurostar website. For more information on this if your child is travelling via SCV please contact the EJSU Travel Cell at EJSU-J1-Travel-Mailbox@mod.uk
