Please note the following information has changed regarding Winter Tyres in Germany as of 1st January 2018.
German Law has changed such that tyres produced after 1 Jan 2018 must contain the 3 Peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol to be classified as Winter tyre compliant.
This applies to dedicated winter tyres and all season tyres.
If the tyre has been produced before 31 Dec 2017 there is no need to immediately replace the tyre.
This arrangement continues until Oct 2024 at which point the 3PMSF symbol must be present for a tyre to be considered Winter compliant.
