Military Remote Running

Military Remote Running (MRR) is an exciting new programme open to British soldiers worldwide, delivered in partnership by ABF The Soldiers’ Charity – the Army’s National Charity and R4W – one of the UK’s largest mass participation event organisers.

The programme gives soldiers an exclusive opportunity to participate competitively in virtual races (open only to members of the armed forces) and engage remotely in real events, such as the Cardiff Half Marathon – the UK’s second largest, televised half marathon. The series will kick off in June 2019 with a D-Day Anniversary Race – running a virtual route from Sword Beach to Pegasus Bridge and back.MRR helps generate much-needed funds for the Soldiers’ Charity, whilst offering a meaningful fitness challenge. For more information on taking part please click here.
