SHAPE parkrun, event number 104, Birthday number 2.
Despite the very wet start to Saturday, the Belgian weather did not put off the 50 park runners who turned out to celebrate SHAPE parkrun’s 2nd birthday! It was lovely to see so many supporters and to welcome the 13 first timers at this free weekly event.
Bacon rolls, coffee and cake followed at Brit Britbar, restoring energy levels, providing respite from the rain and offering the opportunity to socialise with regular and new faces.
parkrun is on every Saturday morning, meeting behind the Conti Mess at 0845 for a 0900 start. Always looking for new park runners, parkwalkers and volunteers, so if you’re looking for a lovely way to kick off your weekend, why not come along and join us?
