Brussels Christmas Market, open until Sunday 5th January 2025

For one of Europe’s biggest Christmas Markets, head to Brussels.

Known as “Plaisirs d’Hiver” (Winter Wonderland), it is much more than a Christmas Market with 200 wooden cottages and stalls, a Ferris wheel, Merry-go-rounds, an ice rink (Place de Brouckère) and Fairground rides. Don’t miss the huge Christmas Tree on the Grand Place which also boasts a beautiful Nativity Scene and a fantastic sound and light show called “Echoes of Colors”; this runs from 1700 to 2200 on a half hourly basis (no show on 24th and 31st December 2024).

Take a walk through the “Winter Wonders” of this gorgeous Christmas Market which extends for 2.5km across the city centre.

The Brussels Christmas Markets are open from 1200 to 2200 each day until the 4th January 2025. Reduced hours of opening on 24th and 31st December 2024 and 5th January 2025, of 1200 to 1800.
