There is a vacancy for an Admin Office Clerk within the SHAPE Admin Office (SAO).
It is a part-time non-industrial category 3C of 34 hours per week (daily starting time negotiable) and the rate of pay is € 1502.08 per month, going up to € 2010.12 in 14 annual increments.

The Admin Office Clerk will be working with and supporting the UK military administrators in the SAO located in the EJSU, providing a focal point for administration-related queries from personnel supported by them.

The main duties of the Admin Office Clerk are as follows:
 Process all passport applications for Service Personnel and dependents and maintain the register
 Maintain GYH(O) register and update all Service Personnel’s entitlement on JPA as required
 Administer all leave adjustments (manual leave applications, cancellations)
 Record all incoming and dispatch all outgoing Service documentation maintaining receipt and dispatch log
 Deputise for Arrivals Clerk§ Advise on recovery of VAT from purchases made by Servicemen and dependents as well as on tax returns for Belgium.
Applicants should be computer literate with a good knowledge of MS Office. They must have a good standard of spoken and written English, be able to show initiative, work unsupervised and have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
