VACANCY TRAVEL ADMINISTRATOR Closing date for applications is 1200 hrs on Thursday 3 August

One of the Travel Administrator position in the EJSU Travel Cell will become vacant soon.
It is a part-time non-industrial position category 4A of 32 hours per week and the starting rate of pay is € 1348.03 per month, going up to a maximum of € 1837.02 in 14 annual increments.
The Travel Administrator is responsible to the Travel Cell Supervisor for booking of travel and subsistence for SHAPE and its dependencies and the wider EJSU community, ensuring that maximum value for money is achieved.
Duties include:

 Booking travel and accommodation in accordance with current regulations
 Ensuring that all T&S applications are processed within the current deadlines
 Calculating cost comparisons for journeys undertaken by “own way” travel
 Ensuring all information and costs are recorded accurately on the Travel Register
 Liaising closely with the EJSU and EJSU Location Heads
Applicants must be able to work with little or no supervision. They should have a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel. They must be methodical, numerate and have the personality to deal effectively with service personnel and civilians irrespective of rank.

It should be noted that this post requires a Category 3 Enhanced Security Vetting Check.
